Span Collection
Designer Brian Graham draws inspiration from the structures of the modern built environment to create Span, a simple platform designed to support a broad range of functional elements including seating, storage or a tabletop. The platform is anchored by a welded stainless steel base composed of refined forms with architectural reference points. As a basis for seating, Span emphasizes the contrast of soft and hard, of tailored cushions resting on a bridge of steel. However deployed, the design makes reference to classic architectural features-and the dialogue between the support and the supported-in a distinctly modern manner.
